How to leave an anonymous tip with police regarding Kensington Strangler

Please stay safe out there for the holidays.

From my Examiner page,

Looking over the Facebook page titled, “Catch the Kensington Strangler, before he catches someone you love.,” I could not find one link, phone number or email address for leaving an anonymous tip to the Philadelphia police, nor is there any set leader that can be contacted by private message.  If someone leaves a comment with information and is guilty of any other crime (prostitution, drugs), they could get into trouble because Facebook will publicly display your first and last name, so this may still cause some hesitation to giving up information.

There are a few places and ways that you can leave an anonymous tip with police, so please choose the best one for you.

By Online Form:

http://www.phillypolice.com/forms/submit-a-tip

Completely anonymous, seems like you just need an internet connection.  This may be your best option.

By Letter:
Police Headquarters
Attn: Submit a Tip
750 Race Street
Philadelphia, PA 19106

Anonymous as long as you do not include a return address.

By Phone:
215-686-TIPS

Block your number or call from a public phone if you are worried about being traced.

By Email:
police.commissioner@phila.gov

Impossible to be anonymous unless you have an untraceable email address set up.

Mayor Nutter has also announced a $30,000 reward for any information, of course, not anonymously received, that will lead to an arrest.

The sketches done by the Philadelphia Police may or may not be accurate, so remember to take that into consideration.  Also, Allison Edwards, who also died of strangulation, is not linked to the other three deaths, Elaine Goldberg, Nicole Piacentini and Casey Mohoney, but her killer also has not been found.  Let’s hope that the Strangler is found and soon — before anyone else becomes his victim — so please, speak up if you have any information.
