So, yesterday morning I dragged Tyler out to do the AIDS walk with me.
And in his angry state, he made a good point.
Why are we suffering? How is walking going to help or cure AIDS? Is there some big AIDS master who sees all this human sacrifice and decides, “Oh, now I’ll cure AIDS.” No! So, what’s the point? I don’t really know. All that I know is that a lot of money is raised.
All that I know is that I love walking. 8.4 miles. That’s all.
The point of this post is to remember to question just about everything — without being, you know, obsessive about it. The brainwashed public tends to believe many false or untrue ideas, so it’s interesting to see how that spreads even beyond politics. I’m sure not many of these walkers know how profitable the pharmaceuticals are in dealing with these diseases, illnesses and cancer — and finding a cure would put all of it to a halt. So, do you think that they, the most powerful businesses in America, are even going to let a cure be found? Kind of a conspiracy theory, but it’s definitely in my mind.
